Ladies pose with some of the cut bandages and several rolls.

Members of Rebecca Sisters and Esther Guild at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Dryden (two groups of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League–Canada) spent time on February 11, 2011 rolling bandages for Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR).

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Instructions for rolling bandages

  • Use clean, white (cotton) fabric [May be used sheets].
  • When using sheets, with sharp scissors, cut off any sewn edges.
  • Cut into 4-inch wide strips (don’t tear). A 4-inch wide cardboard gauge can be used as an aid.

    Roll tightly into 4-inch diameter rolls and fasten the end (perhaps with masking tape).
