Last fall the General Council of LWML–Canada decided to give away several sets of communion ware that had been received after various conventions over the organization’s twenty years. Storage space was at a premium and using them at LWML–Canada conventions involved the danger of breakage in getting them there.
In May Rev. Dr. Neitzel, Lutheran Church–Canada’s mission executive, visited Nicaragua and completed the delivery of a second set of communion ware. (The first set went to Cambodia). This set was given to Rev. Marving Picado, president of Iglesia Luterana Sinodo de Nicaragua (ILSN). It will be used in his church at La Joya.
