On April 20, 2013, 41 women from Estevan, Frobisher, Grenfell, Moosomin and Oxbow gathered in Oxbow, Saskatchewan for the Parkland Zone Spring Renewal.
The morning began with a morning prayer service led by Pastor Schultz and followed by singing, a business meeting, Bible study and lunch.
In the afternoon Shelley Baldwin from Oxbow spoke about the 25 Little Dresses Project. Shelley began this project to get rid of the excess fabric she had collected over the years. Since 2011 more than 3,000 dresses have been sent to different parts of the world. The afternoon continued with a two-hour workshop, where about 20 dresses were completed.
